Friendly Spot
Here at The Friendly Spot, you will find a friendly face and a place to gather as a community.
Come by anytime the USA flag is out - typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11-3 and Thursdays from noon to 3.
Come by for a free cup of coffee or tea and a nice chat.
Puzzles and Board Games are available to play, along with a puzzle exchange so you never have to do the same puzzle twice. We also have a Community Game Night the third Friday of every month from 7-9!
We also have a lending library. No library card needed. Take a book, leave a book. Enjoy reading from our wide variety.
The second Monday of every month around noon, we have community lunches that are hosted by local churches. All are welcome to come and eat. If your church would like to host a lunch, please contact us.
The Friendly Spot is wonderful for small gatherings and parties, such as bridal or baby showers or even a big Thanksgiving Dinner with family. This space is yours for just a financial donation to help with operating costs. Please consider us for your next event.
We also participate in community events, such as our Trunk-or-Treat, the Herring Festival, Jamesville parades, and our Christmas open house.
